Introduction to Navigation Workshop - 25th AND 26th April 2026.

PLEASE SEE GENERAL NAVIGATION WORKSHOP PAGE FOR FULL DETAILS! The start and finish point for Saturday will be Bassenthwaite Station Cafe, Dubwath, CA13 9YL. This is a day aimed at beginners with woodland and moorland terrain allowing for basic compass use, developing timing and pacing strategy and understand map interpretation. Sunday's course involves more difficult exercises over rougher and steeper (in places) terrain. While designed as a continuation from the Saturday session, is it possible to attend just this day and additional support material will be provided accordingly. The activity will start and finish at the White Horse Inn, Scales, CA12 4SY.
